And the award for the biggest airline cock-up of the week goes to Cathay Pacific for incorrectly spelling its own name!
Yes, the Hong Kong-based airline has painted the ‘Cathay Paciic’ on the side of a jet.
But we have to admire the airline for joking about the mishap and posting it on Twitter, along with the following explanation: “Oops this special livery won’t last long! She’s going back to the shop!”
And with 5,400 current shares and 14,000 likes for the post—it seems the travelling public are enjoying the mishap too.
