What do you think makes El Dorado Maroma stand apart from the rest?
Here in Maroma, all of our guests are premium. For us, everybody receives exactly the same service, so that makes clients happy because it doesn’t matter what type of category your room is – you have exactly the same benefits and services as the rest of the guests. That’s very important because in the other resorts, it’s not the same. For example, the presidential suite guest receives some services that the others don’t. In Maroma, we are premium for everybody.
Any sales tips for travel agents?
Make sure you know the GI vacation consultant concept and about the quality of our products. Check the promotions that we have, which you can find every week on the website. But I think really it’s more about the concept of our resort; ask the clients who have visited us about their experiences. Our regional sales managers can offer you a lot of benefits too, like promotions and coupons for your customers for candle light dinners or special massages. That means that and you get to decide who are your VIP clients are.
How can a travel agent become a GI vacation consultant?
When you register on our website, each time when you book a customer, your bookings are registered. You can win a lot of points and at the end you can change them for stamps for online stores for your customers. Or, if you don’t know our resorts, you can use your points and travel completely free to our resort.
The reef must be a huge selling point.
Just in front of out beautiful resort, we have the second most important coral reef in the world. As you know, the first one is in Australia, but we are very lucky that we have the second one. For that reason, we have this snorkel equipment for our guests and the kayak tour, which is complimentary for them.
What do you love about El Dorado Maroma Beach Resort?
Too many things! I love the people. We have a lot of repeat guests here, so for us it’s like family. We know everybody and everybody knows us.
